Learn more about your impact

ASU Film Spark has been connecting students to internships in the entertainment industry for more than five years. And while internships are one of the best ways to jumpstart a career, all too often they are unpaid, leaving behind too many students who lack the financial support to take advantage of such opportunities. You can support these students with a gift to the Film Spark Student Internship Support Fund and enable them to participate in unpaid internships that further their career aspirations.

“I never realized how vast the film industry really is. I was worried that I was chasing a pipe dream when I decided to pursue film, but my education has opened my eyes to the opportunities within the creative field. My professors have been very motivating and have helped me grow confident in my ability to succeed in my profession.”

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

I believe ASU is a major life force in our community and I want to do my part to help it thrive."
