Learn more about your impact

How can science and technology contribute to an improved quality of life for the greatest number of people? This is the organizing question for the Consortium for Science, Policy and Outcomes.

The Consortium for Science, Policy and Outcomes is the only intellectual consortium dedicated to understanding the link between science and technology and its effects on society. The consortium creates knowledge, cultivates public discourse and fosters policies to help decision-makers and institutions grapple with the immense power and importance of science and technology as society charts a course for the future. Your support will enable research, conferences, community events and the ongoing work of the consortium. You can ensure that society has the knowledge and tools to align scientific activities with our desired outcomes.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

We choose to invest in ASU because of its agility, speed and focus on innovation. The Swette Center engages in cross-disciplinary research and collaborates with many partners, including private sector leaders, to create food systems change.”
