Learn more about your impact

The Friends of Religious Studies Student Scholarship is an annual scholarship awarded to an exemplary undergraduate religious studies student. Your gift will alleviate the burden of program fees and the cost of travel, books and housing, allowing the student to focus on academics and not the stress of finances.

This award allowed me and my wife to go to school at the same time. Without this scholarship, we could not have afforded to do so. This has created an environment at home in which both of us can succeed and show our son that perseverance and determination are important values to get what makes you happy in life."

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

I believe ASU is a major life force in our community and I want to do my part to help it thrive."
