The Anthony J. Brazel Lecture in Urban Climate Research, hosted by ASU's Urban Climate Research Center, is an annual event that brings an international leader in the field of urban climate research to ASU to present on a topic of intertest to researchers, students, policy makers and the public. The lecture is named in honor of Anthony Brazel, prominent climatologist and professor emeritus at ASU's School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning and aims to continue Brazel's legacy of advancing research into the relationship between urban environments and climate.
