The James F. Golder Memorial Scholarship in Journalism provides scholarship funding for Cronkite students.
The Golder Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of KPNX television technician James F. Golder, who died as a result of a tower accident on February 12, 1983. James Golder attended ASU to learn TV engineering, and then worked at PBS, Channel 8, and at KPNX, Channel 12. The James F. Golder Memorial Scholarship in Journalism supports student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
