JB Metzger graduated from ASU in 2002. He emerged as a leader in the mortgage industry and was president of The Metzger Group before he was taken from this world way too soon. JB Metzger was truly inspirational and the epitome of an uncommon leader. The JB Metzger Uncommon Leader Scholarship is for those who are dedicated to the idea that the leadership of health care professions must be reorganized and redefined in order to pursue higher standards of professional practice.
Impact of Donor Support
- More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
- More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
