Learn more about your impact

Over 35% of New College students are first-generation students who overcome many obstacles to be part of ASU. Despite our ongoing effort to ensure the continuation of their education, our students find themselves in various emergency and crisis situations such as family emergency, lack of funds to purchase books, supplies and meals, exhaustion of financial aid to pay tuition and more. We employ a holistic approach to student success by allocating flexible funds where needed most to remove barriers and support areas with the highest impact on student retention and graduation.

Please donate now to provide immediate financial assistance to students who cannot meet necessary and essential expenses in times of crisis. On behalf of our students, staff and faculty of New College, we thank you for your generous gift.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

Our family believes in giving back and sharing the blessings we have received financially and through our time."
