Many of us are not financially equipped to deal with unforeseen expenses. The Staff Council Staff Helping Staff Endowment will ensure that the ASU Staff Council can help members facing a financial emergency for many years to come. With an endowment, the principal amount is kept intact and the investment earnings are distributed. Thus, an endowment fund can serve as a permanent source of support. The Staff Helping Staff Endowment will serve in perpetuity as a financial assistance program to aid benefits-eligible ASU staff members in need.
Impact of Donor Support
- More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
- More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
- And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.
