Who we are, in large measure, is defined by what we do. And when you retire, you do not retire from who you are. The Emeritus College is an official unit at Arizona State University that provides a place and a purpose for continued scholarship and research for ASU’s retired faculty awarded with emeritus status. The Emeritus College affords retired faculty the opportunity to continue to be who they are by giving them a home and focus to intellectual, creative and social engagement and fostering the scholarly and artistic lives of its members by prolonging fruitful engagement with service to the university and to the community.
Join us as the Emeritus College continues to provide a continued association with productive scientists, scholars and artists who have retired from their faculty positions but not from their disciplines. You can help! Your generosity and participation in Sun Devil Giving day will make a difference though:
The Emeritus College Gifts and Grants Fund
This flexible funding supports the retired community of scholars who fuel discovery, innovation, multi-generational relationships and nurture future generations of Sun Devils as they foster a deeper understanding of diversity, independent thought and the interdependent nature of the human experience through research, publishing, attending and presenting at conferences, etc. This includes funding for various College programs such as:
Academy for Mentoring identifies opportunities for members to serve as mentors for tenure-track faculty and for students from high school through college.

Emeritus College Endowment Fund
Through the generosity primarily of the College’s members, this fund supports one $2,000 Undergraduate Research Internship (URI) each year. Our goal is to sustain this and many others, including new programs and member opportunities.
